SSC CGL 2019 Application Form, Dates, Eligibility & Procedure
SSC CGL 2019 Application Form will be available from October 22, 2019, as per the officially released calendar. Interested aspirants shall apply for it through its official website i.e. ssc.nic.in. The online application link will be provided here once it becomes active on SSC’s official website.
In 2017, around 15 lakh candidates appeared for the tier-1 of the SSC CGL exam.
Candidates having bachelor’s degree in any stream or discipline can apply for the exam.
- SSC CGL 2019 registration will be conducted in online mode only.
- The exam comprises of 4 levels – Tier I, Tier II, Tier III, and Tier IV.
- The CGL Examination for Tier I will be held from 2 to 11 March 2020 and will be a computer-based examination.
- the Combined Graduate Level Examination-2019 for Tier II and III will be held from 22 to 25 June 2020
- The registration link will remain open till November 25, after which no application will be accepted.
- The application fee for general category male candidates is INR 100.
- Aspirants of all other categories are exempted from fee payment.

Every year Staff Selection Commission (SSC) carries out the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam in four levels for various posts.

It is good to make a note of the SSC CGL exam pattern & syllabus, before starting the exam preparation. SSC CGL Exam Patterns 2019 for Tier I & II are given below:
- SSC CGL 2019 Tier I and Tier II exam will be held online.
- A descriptive paper will be of 100 marks with a time limit of 60 minutes in pen and paper mode.
- The time limit for examination of Tier -I is 60 minutes.
- There will be no sectional cut off.
